Training your dog successfully can help to ensure a long healthy relationship between your family and the dog. Owning a pet can be a rewarding experience but needs to be handled with care by taking the necessary steps to ensure that your dog is properly trained. The best way to train your dog is with discipline and to reward them with treats when they behave and follow commands.

You may be of the opinion that it is not possible to have a pet dog if you work lengthy hours and there is no one at home. And in most cases you would be correct in thinking this. We all know that dogs need lots of exercise, and it is just not feasible to take them for long walks if you are out of the house all day. It would without doubt be irresponsible to bring a dog into the home and then leave it alone for long durations of time. Dogs are exceedingly social animals and they require the company of others (whether they are humans or other four legged friends!). They also need to be taken out regularly not just for their physical health, but also their mental well being. This is true even for smaller breeds it is most definitely a misnomer to say that little dogs do not need any exercise. Bothersome behaviour troubles such as prolonged barking, chewing and being over excitable are common in dogs that have been left alone for many hours at a time.
So, what can you do if you are one of those many people who would love a dog, but just dont have the time to walk it frequently? Well, there are solutions available to you. Over recent years there has been a growth in the amount of small businesses offering professional dog walking and dog sitting services. It is a fantastic alternative for responsible dog owners who dont have the hours free to provide their pet what it needs. Dog walkers will walk your dog in the neighboring environment and give it the opportunity to mix with other dogs and run and play in the fresh air. Some businesses will provide dog sitting services where someone can come and sit with your dog in the home making sure that it gets company and attention.

If you are a dog owner then you will appreciate how important it is to make sure that your dog is walked on a frequent basis. Responsible dog owners ensure that their dogs gets all the exercise and clean air that they need. Dogs are like kids they need to be given the chance to run and play, and expend some excess energy. They are also sociable creatures who enjoy the company of other dogs and humans. Dogs who are left alone for extended durations, and arent walked every day, can develop behaviour problems and will most likely gain weight too. A bored dog is likely to chew items in the house or bark for sustained amounts of time (both very bothersome habits!).
Nearly all dog owners view dog walking as a necessity that is also a pastime for them as well. It can be a great way of seeing the countryside and going to new locations. Walking a dog is good for humans as well it gives them the exercise that they need and also the opportunity to meet new friends! Unfortunately, more and more people are finding themselves in a state of affairs where they just dont have the time or energy to dedicate to taking their dog out for walks. With many people working longer and longer hours there is a rising need for highly regarded and expert dog walkers. As a result dog walking has become big business over recent years. There are many people who now organize dog walking businesses. This is especially the case in the big cities where there are many people out at work for long periods.

Everyone loves to have a lovely pet like a dog in their house. But not even one of us would like to have a rude canine. It is very vital to give some basic obedience training to your dogs so that they remain obedient as they age. The following tips will tell you how you can get your dog under your reign.
The very first thing you should do is to make sure that he knows you are the leader of the pack. Also make him understand that he is below every other member in your home. For this you can allow him to have his meals after everyone finishes. This will make it clear that you are the leader.
It is better to dominate him every now and then. This again confirms to him that you are the boss and he should obey his master. You neednt be very strict all the times as that could have a reverse effect.
