Therapy Dog Daisy
Dogs must be at least 9 months of age and current vaccinations are required.
Cost: $120 or $110 for SPCA Members
Prerequisite:
- Ability to work in a group environment. No aggressive or leash reactive dogs.
- Previous Pet Therapy 101 Class, Canine Good Citizen Class, or Canine Good Citizen certification
Description:
Learn the behaviors needed to excel with your dog on therapy dog visits. Topics of discussion will include assessing your dogs potential as a therapy dog, working with your therapy dog in public, meeting strangers politely and reading the body language of dogs.

Please note: Taking a therapy dog class is not required for testing with Therapy Dogs Inc or Therapy Dogs International. Pet Partners requires all testing teams complete their on-line class prior to testing, but does not require any other class or training. This class is intended only to improve your handling and teamwork with your dog prior to therapy dog testing or visits.
