At Little Dale Dogs we run small, friendly training classes. Having a maximum of 4 dogs per class allows classes to be tailored to the needs of the individual dogs and owners within in. It also allows each dog and owner partnership to have plenty of 1-2-1 time with the trainer within the class. We have found dogs progress much quicker in smaller classes because of this.
Our classes are for pet dogs and their owners, and our overall aim is for you both to enjoy the training experience. At Little Dale Dogs only reward based training methods are permitted in classes.
We realise dogs are dogs and not robots. We will offer you positive help and advice for any problems that arise with your dogs behaviour in class. Toileting accidents in the hall, barking, over excitement and other issues will be discussed in a positive manner, rather than making you feel responsible for your dogs actions.
Owners are encouraged to ask questions in classes. We also offer help and support between classes via email or phone if required. 1-2-1 sessions can be book for an extra charge.
Having our own premises gives us the ability to offer classes at a range of different times and days. We dont publish course start dates, rather group dogs and owners into times convenient to them once they have registered an interest in a particular course.
All classes are held at Little Dale Dogs in Hawkhurst, Kent. We have an indoor training hall as well as using Dales Den, our secure outdoor paddock (weather and light permitting!). This allows exercises to be practiced in a true to life environment.
All puppies and dogs must be vaccinated before attending classes. Dogs aggressive to other dogs or people are not permitted in class. However we do have a qualified behaviourist who is available for 1-2-1 sessions for these dogs and other behavioral issues. No bitches in season please.
