That said I personally know a few people that had a great deal of success with Petsmart training at different locations, so you should probably just go, and try to talk to a trainer about their specific classes. If you like them, make sure to sign up for that specific trainer, since the teaching quality seems to vary even in a single store.
I'm going to be taking a class with an area dog club instead...it's less expensive and I was very impressed when I talked to the trainer over the phone.
